3D2N: Explore the Natural Beauty of Cat Ba with Lan Ha Bay & Floating Homestay

Day 1: Hanoi – Cat Ba island
 

7:00 AM: A tourist bus will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter. You will board the bus and spend 2.5 hours enjoying the scenic views of Vietnam’s lush rice fields as you travel along the 5B Hanoi - Hai Phong - Cat Hai Expressway.

10:00 AM: The bus will take you to Got Ferry Terminal (Cat Hai), where you will board a speedboat for a quick 5-minute sea crossing to Cai Vieng Pier. From there, a tourist bus will take you on a 30-minute drive to Cat Ba Town via a stunning coastal road of the Gulf of Tonkin. Along the way, you can admire breathtaking views of the blue sea and majestic mountains.

11:30 NOON: The bus will stop at your homestay, where you will check in and enjoy a delicious lunch featuring local specialties. After lunch, you can relax before embarking on an afternoon exploration of Cat Ba by motorbike.

The journey takes you through the national park, showcasing majestic mountain landscapes and lush vegetation, and continues along a picturesque coastal road to a beach about 10 km from town. Here, you can stroll on the sandy beach, unwind, or watch the sunset.

Evening: Enjoy a fresh seafood barbecue on the beach, accompanied by barley smoothies, and soak in the tranquil and refreshing seaside atmosphere in a serene and relaxing setting.

Day 2: Cat Ba – Lan Ha Bay

7:30 AM: Have breakfast at the hotel.
On the second day, you will head to Lan Ha Bay, where you will visit the Cai Beo fishing village – a community of fishermen living on floating houses. From here, you will continue kayaking to explore natural caves and the emerald green bays. The towering limestone formations, mysterious caves, and crystal-clear waters will transport you to a magical space, an experience not many get to have.

Lunch will be served on the boat, and afterward, you can relax, sunbathe on a secluded beach, and admire the stunning sunset.

You will spend the night at a floating homestay in Lan Ha Bay, where you can enjoy the serene night view of the sea and participate in a nighttime kayaking activity to see the glowing plankton under the water.

Day 3: Lan Ha Bay – Cat Ba – Hanoi

7:30 AM: Have breakfast at the local Floating homestay.

On the final day, you will board the boat for another journey to enjoy Lan Ha Bay from a different perspective. The boat will take you to Ba Trai Dao, a pristine area bordering Ha Long Bay. Here, you can relax on the beach, go snorkeling to explore coral reefs, or discover fascinating natural caves.

15:30 PM: After returning to Cat Ba, you will take the bus back to Hanoi, concluding your memorable trip. The Trip ends around 19:30 pm.
