4-Day 3-Night Cát Bà Adventure – Nature & Local Life Experience

DAY 1: HA NOI - CAT BA ISLAND - BY BUS

Departure & Exploring Local Villages in Cát Bà

07:00 AM: Depart from Hanoi and travel approximately 3.5 hours via the Hanoi–Hai Phong–Cat Hai Expressway. From the pier, take a speedboat across the sea to Cát Bà Island.

Upon arrival, transfer to a quiet homestay located about 3 km from the town center. Check in, relax, and enjoy a local lunch at the homestay.

In the afternoon, ride a motorbike with your local guide to visit a village on the island and the scenic Lien Minh Butterfly Valley. Then head to a peaceful local beach for swimming and sunset watching by the coastal mangrove forest.

After sunset, visit Xuan Dam village and join a fun volleyball game with local residents – a warm and authentic experience.

In the evening, return to the town for dinner and try Vietnamese-style Bánh Xèo (crispy pancakes), a beloved local dish. After dinner, head back to the homestay for rest.

DAY 2: CAT BA MANGROVES TOUR

07:00 – 09:00 AM: Breakfast at the hotel.
09:00 AM: A local guide will pick you up by car at the hotel and take you to Phu Long mangrove forest ecological farm. The guide will introduce you to activities such as clam digging, fishing with nets, boat sightseeing, and you will enjoy a fresh seafood lunch.

In the afternoon, you will spend time paddle boarding (SUP), relaxing, and taking photos around the mangrove farm area, or swimming.

At 4:30 PM, you will return to the hotel to rest.

In the evening, you are free to have dinner outside on your own.

DAY 3: LAN HA - HALONG BAY - BOAT TOUR - OVERNIGHT FLOATING HOMESTAY

07:00 – 08:00 AM: Breakfast at your homestay.
08:30 – 09:00 AM: Pick-up from your hotel and transfer to Cai Beo Pier. Board the boat and cruise through the Cai Beo Fishing Village and limestone islets of Lan Ha Bay – Ha Long Bay.
11:00 AM: Kayak to explore hidden lagoons and sea caves at Hang Ca (Fish Cave).
12:00 PM: Lunch served on board.
01:00 – 03:30 PM: Swim and relax at the pristine beaches of Ba Trai Dao (Three Peaches).
04:00 PM: Check in at a floating homestay. Enjoy the sunset, dinner, and a magical bioluminescent kayak ride.
Overnight: Stay at the floating homestay.

DAY 4: VIET HAI VILLAGE - HA NOI - BY BUS

07:00 – 08:00 AM: Breakfast at your homestay.
08:30 AM: Board the boat to Viet Hai Pier. From there, enjoy a scenic 8km trek (about 1 hour) along the coastal path and through a natural cave into the lush tropical rainforest. Visit Viet Hai Village and a traditional ancient house nestled within the national park.
Relax and enjoy lunch in a peaceful, fresh-air setting, and try the unique fish foot massage experience.

05:00 PM: Transfer back to Hanoi by car.
08:30 PM: Arrive in Hanoi Old Quarter. End of your 4-day, 3-night journey.
