Itinerary
Discover Lan Ha Bay – The Hidden Gem of Cat Ba
11:30 - 12:00 PM: Our driver will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to Cai Beo Harbor, where you will board a local boat to visit the floating fishing village and the stunning saltwater lagoon, Vem Lake, in Lan Ha Bay.
12:30 - 3:00 PM: Your guide will give you a detailed introduction to the itinerary and activities. You’ll spend 2–3 relaxing hours kayaking, enjoying the stunning natural scenery as the sunlight paints vibrant reflections on the water. If you’re lucky, you may also encounter monkeys, migratory birds, squirrels, or civets within the Cat Ba National Park reserve.
3:30 - 17:30: You will experience fishing with a local guide, or simply relax and swim at a private beach before enjoying the sunset over Lan Ha Bay. On the way back, if you’re lucky, you may even spot a family of Cat Ba Langurs — one of the world’s rarest primates, with only around 94 individuals remaining..
17:30 - 18:30 PM: You will visit a local fishing community living on small boats and in floating villages. Here, you’ll listen to their everyday stories, observe how they make a living on the open sea, and fully appreciate the simple, authentic beauty of island life.
18:30 - 19:30 PM: You will enjoy dinner at a local floating restaurant featuring signature dishes such as stir-fried morning glory with garlic, lemongrass chicken, seafood spring rolls, fried tofu, grilled oysters, fish in sauce, and steamed rice. If you are vegetarian or have any food allergies, please inform us in advance so we can prepare accordingly.
20:00 PM: The driver will transfer you back to your hotel, concluding a memorable day of experiences.

Important Notes for Your Trip
If your tour date coincides with low tide, we will kayak to explore Ancient Capital Cave and experience seafood harvesting such as green mussels, clams, rock crabs, shrimp, and octopus.
You should prepare water shoes or aqua sandals for safe movement.
The weather in Northern Vietnam is currently unpredictable and can be quite chilly at times, so please bring appropriate clothing to stay warm.
We provide each guest with a 20L waterproof dry bag to keep your belongings safe throughout the journey.
