Itinerary
Departure from Hanoi – Cat Ba (07:00 – 11:30)
Our car and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. You will then travel to Dong Bai Ferry Terminal (approximately 2.5 hours). At the ferry terminal, you will take a high-speed ferry across the sea (about 5 minutes) to Cai Vieng Ferry Terminal. After that, you will continue by shuttle bus to the Cai Beo Harbor.
11:30 - 17:30: You will board a local boat to visit Vung O floating village and enjoy fresh seafood lunch on board. After lunch, relax at a private beach, with free time for sunbathing and swimming in crystal-clear waters.
In the afternoon, the boat continues cruising through Lan Ha Bay, exploring lesser-known areas known locally as Tung Trang Valley and Tung Thit, followed by around two hours of kayaking to discover Tay Keo Cave and An Cave. As the day comes to an end, enjoy watching the sunset over the majestic scenery of Lan Ha Bay, a recognized World Natural Heritage site.
17:30 - 18:30: In the evening, experience an overnight stay at a traditional house in Viet Hai Village, nestled deep within the primary forest, and enjoy a traditional dinner prepared by local families.
DAY 2: Hiking in Cat Ba National Park - Viet Hai Village - Cat Ba - Ha Noi
07:30 - 8:00 AM: After breakfast at the homestay.
08:00 - 12:00: Next you will trek to the Hai Quan Peak, enjoying panoramic views of Lan Ha Bay and Ha Long Bay, with towering limestone mountains and emerald waters below. You will then visit Tien Duc Cave, stroll through Viet Hai Ancient Village, experience a fish foot massage, and cycle through the tropical forest.
14:00 - 19:30: After lunch at the homestay, the group returns to Lan Ha Bay and then travels by car back to Hanoi Old Quarter in the evening, ending the 2-day, 1-night Cat Ba journey.
