Cat Ba 3 Days 2 Nights Tour - Cat Ba National Park - Lan Ha Bay - Ha Long Bay - Viet Hai Fishing Village

Day 1: Hanoi – Cat Ba Island by bus or private car upon request.

Departure from Hanoi – Cat Ba (07:00 – 11:30)
Our car and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. You will then travel to Dong Bai Ferry Terminal (approximately 2.5 hours). At the ferry terminal, you will take a high-speed ferry across the sea (about 5 minutes) to Cai Vieng Ferry Terminal. After that, you will continue by shuttle bus to your hotel in Cat Ba Town. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, and take some time to rest. In the afternoon, you will experience a motorbike tour visiting Military Hospital Cave and Trung Trang Cave, followed by time to relax and admire the beautiful sunset along the coast of Cat Ba. In the evening, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. After dinner, you are free to stroll and explore Cat Ba Town at night.

Day 2: Floating Fishing Village – Lan Ha Bay – Ha Long Bay – Viet Hai Village

Time: 08:00 – 17:00

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Cai Beo Tourist Pier to board a local boat and visit Cai Beo Floating Fishing Village (Vung O), one of the oldest fishing villages in Vietnam. The boat cruises through limestone islands toward the Ong Cam area, where you can admire the central part of Ha Long Bay from a distance. You will relax and swim at Ba Trai Dao Beach. Lunch is served on board, surrounded by the peaceful scenery of Lan Ha Bay. In the afternoon, enjoy kayaking through sea caves and secluded lagoons, including Tay Keo Cave and An Cave. If conditions allow, continue to Co Do Cave, a 150-meter tunnel cave opening into a quiet, hidden lagoon. Later, relax and swim at Tung Trang Lagoon, watching the sunset over Lan Ha Bay. In the evening, transfer to Viet Hai Ancient Village, check in at a forest homestay, enjoy local cuisine, and stay overnight in a peaceful natural setting.

Day 3: Viet Hai Village – Cat Ba – Hanoi

Time: 08:00 – 19:30

After breakfast at the homestay, you will trek to the Hai Quan Peak, enjoying panoramic views of Lan Ha Bay and Ha Long Bay, with towering limestone mountains and emerald waters below. You will then visit Tien Duc Cave, stroll through Viet Hai Ancient Village, experience a fish foot massage, and cycle through the tropical forest.

After lunch at the homestay, the group returns to Lan Ha Bay and then travels by car back to Hanoi Old Quarter in the evening, ending the 3-day, 2-night Cat Ba journey.
